Humane Society Silicon Valley’s 4th Annual Gala Fundraiser

SANTA CLARA, Calif., March 6, 2007
“Whine and Dine on The Row” with your animal companion is the theme for The Fur Ball, Humane Society Silicon Valley’s (HSSV) 4th annual fundraiser. The gala event presented by Santana Row, will be held at the destination shopping center on Saturday, March 24 from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
The black tie evening will feature wine tasting, culinary delights from gourmet chefs at Santana Row restaurants, live music, and silent and live auctions to benefit Humane Society Silicon Valley. The emcees are NBC11 News Anchors Brent Cannon and Laura Garcia-Cannon.
“Guests will walk the red carpet with their companion animals, enjoy heart-warming videos about adopted pets and how they impact people’s lives, and dance the night away to the live music of Mark Russo and The Classy Cats,” says Christine Benninger, HSSV president.

A silent and live auction will round out The Fur Ball. Attendees can bid on everything from a NASA Zero-Gravity Experience, to a commissioned animal companion oil painting by Santa Clara artist Sonya Paz, to a 1965 Oldsmobile Cutlass 2-Door F-85.

Funds raised through The Fur Ball support crucial and vibrant HSSV programs. Tickets are $250 per person and must be reserved in advance, as event attendance is limited to 250 people. For ticket information, or to make a donation, contact the HSSV.
